Come and discover what Nordic Pole Walking is all about with our FREE 1 hour Introduction Session.
A Certified Nordic Pole Walking Instructor will present to you the history behind poling, some of the many health benefits, and some background scientific research in support of Nordic Pole Walking. Then you will get a chance to try out the poles for yourself and begin to start understanding the basic pole walking technique. Our goal with this Free Intro Session is to have you walk away with a new found interest and desire to add Nordic Pole Walking into your lifestyle of improving your physical activity and mobility.
If you walk… you can Pole Walk! People of any age and fitness level are welcome.
Walking poles will be provided, free of charge. You will have an opportunity to purchase your own set of poles. The Free Session will take place at InsideOut Physiotherapy & Wellness Group clinic – 1240 Bay Street, Suite 502, Toronto.
What to wear:
- During winter season, pole walking portion will be indoors
- During warm weather, pole walking portion will be outdoors (weather permitting)
- Comfortable walking shoes / boots
