Discover the power of Kinesiology taping! K-tape, Leukotape-K and Spider tape are all brands of kinesiology tape using the same principles. Proven effective since 2004, Leukotape-K, also known as Neuroproprioceptive (NPT) taping is a an evidence based kinesiology taping method widely used with athletes, active clients and patients recovering from injury or managing pain. Leukotape- K / NPT tape is being used in multiple neuro settings as well.
This one-day course teaches the principles and clinical application of kinesiology taping. Learn how targeted taping techniques can reduce tone, decrease pain, improve circulation, encourage lymphatic drainage and restore muscular balance.
Through hands-on practice and guided instruction, you will learn:
- Correct application of Kinesiology tape for specific muscle activation and inhibition
- Cutting and taping techniques for common pathologies and pain
- How to integrate anatomy and neuromuscular physiology to maximize functional outcomes
- Strategies to support swelling reduction, circulation, and performance enhancement
- How to problem solve while using the tape to maximize your client’s potential
- How to encourage lymphatic drainage
- How to make the connection between neuro-muscular physiology and NPT
